How do you burn fat without losing muscle?

Ima 19 year old male and I workout 3 times a week, with weights, I’ve got a decent amount of muscle, but I have bad muscle definition, my body fat percentage is 20%.

I just want to know how do you burn fat without losing muscle, how much cardio should I do, what should i eat on cardio workout days, should my diet be high in protein during cardio days?

When I was losing weight and building strength i would do Cardio for about 30 minutes then hit the weights. i burnt fat and gain muscle at the same time. i noticed myself getting a lot stronger and having higher stamina when working out when i include cardio and strength training although 1 day of all cardio is good to. but you will not lose muscle if you do cardio. doing both is most likely the best combo.

  2. you can do either circuit training 3 days a week or mountain bike 3 days a week on difficult trails with lots of climbing…

  3. By running and eating lots of protein. You will burn fat off by running guaranteed. Then to put on muscle you need to eat alot of protein everyday and strength train.
